OUR FIRST RECOMMENDATION

Go up to
Vyšehrad.

A former royal seat, a fortress and a place woven into Czech legends. Today, Vyšehrad is a place for park walks, city views and a different pace of Prague.

Look for the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, follow the ramparts and take time by the river-facing viewpoints.

A FEW LOCAL NOTES

Beer, walks
& everyday Prague.

Leave room for an unplanned stop in a neighbourhood pub, a coffee or a walk without a destination. We’re putting together our own guide to favourite places nearby.

For now, start with Vyšehrad, the river and our shop. Ask us through Airbnb for suggestions for your stay.

A place of stories

Vyšehrad is closely associated with Czech legends, including Princess Libuše. Its documented history as a fortified settlement reaches back to the 10th century.

Perunika’s identity draws on Slavic mythology and Perun, the god of thunder. The atmosphere is our inspiration — an invitation to discover the area’s stories for yourself.
